This document is the analysis of the cases in 2022. Following is what we have found out based on the data.
We have only calculated the cases with foreign fashion brands. The case list indicates that there were 98 factories involved in the cases in 2022. Two of them were without any mention of the owner.
Looking at the owners of these 96 factories, 80 were Chinese and the rest were Korean (6), Myanmar (3), Taiwanese (2), Indian (2), Japanese (1), Bangladeshi (1), and Sri Lankan (1).
These factories produced a total of 139 brands. The top 5 brands involved in cases were ZARA, ONLY, H&M, OVS, and SINSAY.
When looking at the country of those brands, there were 18 countries such as the U.K., Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, U.S., Belgium, Japan, Norway, Korea, Hong Kong, Canada, Iran, and Ireland. I was unable to locate the country of origin of some of the brands.
